I once saw a sculpture made from pieces of a broken mirror.
Phoenix-like, it was as if all the bad luck had been re-shaped into a form of beauty.
Love is like the broken mirror sculpture.
From different angles it can seem damaged, sad, whimsical, or exhilarated.
When the fullness of love is revealed, it reflects all that is truly beautiful.

I think Django Reinhardt was the most incredible guitarist of all time. Despite losing all but two fingers on his left hand , in a fire, he re-learnt the guitar and created an original sound that continues to intoxicate to this day If there ever was a time and place I would have loved to have lived , it was Paris , between the Wars! Art Philosophy,Bohemia, Jazz, all the main food groups..... My favourite songwriter, Tony King has created a passport back into that magical time...Tony sings the harmonies and plays all instruments except for the wonderful violin of George Washingmachine . Be blown away! I'll meet you for a coffee in Montmartre! Love Nina x
